Been working on some studies for two large paintings. Usually I use chalk pastel for my studies particularly Mungyo soft pastel, which my wife gave me when we're still in college, chalk pastels gives me great flexibility for quick sketches specially on abstract subjects. Basically my studies are more of a color guide, my work changes drastically as I transfer these studies on the canvas. I'm hoping to finish these 2 3'x4' paintings by the end of this month, wish me luck.
